Woodside operates the Goodwyn-A platform off the coast of Karratha, Western australia. An intelligent pig run was planned but the pig trap isolation valves were found to be leaking. Making use of the DBB-SAVER technology a zero leak rate could be guaranteed, the pig trap door could be openened and loading of the pig could be executed in full safety.
