Compressor barrel exchange
Recently there was a maintenance requirement on the Neptune Energy L10-A bridge-linked complex in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. On the L10-AD platform a compressor barrel had to be exchanged. There were 4 isolation points in parallel, all single valves with a connection possible to the body cavities of these valves.
With our Valvetight DBB-SAVER solution a tight shut-off isolation was 100% guaranteed. We created, maintained, controlled and monitored the vacuum in all four cavities simultaneuously, with just a single DBB-SAVER set-up. A Liquid KO vessel was used upstream of our DBB0SAVER vacuum unit. The work could be safely executed without delays, further shutdowns or depressurization of adjecent systems.
