DBB-SAVER support
Gate Terminal, an European LNG hub, has executed a major Turn Around in 2021. The plant was made gas free for some necessary maintenance and repairs works, except the main storage tanks remained full. However, a valve in a pipeline header to one of these tanks was passing (in-line leakage) to such extent that several to be executed works in the downstream header would not be safely possible.
The DBB-SAVER made sure that the passing valves were hermetically sealed off and zero gas could pass towards the safe work area. The DBB-SAVER remained in operation 24/24 during 10 days until the works were completed. We thank Gate terminal for their trust and excellent cooperation and looking forward to our next project.
