Opening of line behind 10" single valve
Recently there was a maintenance requirement on the Neptune Energy L10-A complex in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The L10-AR (the Riser Platform) is the central hub for the main subsea gas transport pipeline network NGT. There was a line break required with only a single 10″ isolation valve isolating the work location from the NGT pipeline.
With our Valvetight DBB-SAVER solution a tight shut-off isolation was 100% guaranteed and the work could be safely executed without delays, further shutdowns or depressurization of systems/pipeline.
Just a few weeks earlier we had executed our first project for Neptune, and before the equipment was back in our warehouse it was sent back at sea. We thank Neptune Energy and Noordgastransport for their trust and great collaboration!
