Compressor barrel exchange
An Equinor installation could not verify the integrity of their valve seals before performing a large compressor work scope. The DBB-SAVER was used to safely ensure that no hydrocarbons could reach the working area. There were 4 isolation points in parallel, the main lines with single valves with a connection possible to the body cavities of these valves.
With our Valvetight DBB-SAVER solution a tight shut-off isolation was 100% guaranteed. We created, maintained, controlled and monitored the vacuum in all four bleed sections simultaneously, with just a single DBB-SAVER set-up. A Liquid KO vessel was used upstream of our DBB-SAVER. The work could be safely executed without delays, further shutdowns, or depressurization of adjacent systems.
