The BONGA is a deepwater FPSO, located 120km offshore off the coast of Warri in the Niger Delta. It produces both Oil and Gas. The oil is stored and transferred to tankers, and the gas is piped back to a LNG plant onshore.
The DBB-SAVER is planned to be used in order to safely perform all kinds of maintenance works and is intended for long term use and will remain stored on the Bonga FPSO for quick access and deployment.
The DBB-SAVER for the Bonga was designed to suit specific requirements of the client, whilst adhering to the Shell worldwide approval for the DBB-SAVER technology. The inlet has a manifold suitable for hook-up of multiple simultanious bleed point connections.
DBB-SAVER delivery is planned in the end of October 2019.
